U.S. EMBASSY EXTENDS HUBERT H. HUMPHREY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM FOR MID-CAREER PROFESSIONALS

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has extended the deadline for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program for Mid-Career Professionals. This is a 10-month, non-degree Master's level program for University graduates with minimum 5 years of management/policy-making experience.

The program is designed to enhance professional capabilities in the following fields:

  • Natural Resources and Environmental Management
  • Agricultural Development/ Agricultural Economics
  • Public Health Policy and Management
  • Substance Abuse Education, Treatment, and Prevention
  • HIV/AIDS Policy and Prevention
  • Urban and Regional Planning

The program is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. Recruitment of Ukrainian participants and administration of the program is carried out by the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv. Pre-Application deadline is extended through May 5, 2008.
