AMBASSADOR PASCUAL TO OPEN USA PAVILON AT “ELCOM” TRADE SHOW

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Carlos Pascual will officially open the U.S.A. Pavilion at the ELCOM' 2001 trade show on April 17. Also participating in the opening will be Vice Prime Minister for Fuel and Energy Dubyna and Minister of Energy and Fuel of Ukraine Stashevsky. ELCOM is a prestigious annual trade exhibition conducted by the Ukrainian trade show company Euroindex Ltd.

The USA Pavilion is organized by the U.S. Embassy’s Foreign Commercial Service (FCS) in Kyiv. It will feature products and services by some of America’s leading electrical technology manufacturers, such as Westinghouse (Westron JV), Emerson Electric, Ludger, and Invensys Power Systems, among others. This is the second USA trade show pavilion in Ukraine this year. It serves to underscore the rapidly growing trade relationship between Ukraine and the United States.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 12:30 a.m. on April 17 in Hall 7 of the National Exhibition Center of Ukraine (1 Akademika Hlushkova Prospekt).
