Ambassador Taylor poses with participants of Rough & Ready 2006.  Many of the U.S. participants are California National Guardsmen with duty positions as first responders in case of emergency.  Nearly half of the U.S. contingent also includes civilian California state employees with responsibilities as emergency response personnel such as medical technicians and California Emergency Medical Services Authority staff
