Legislative Fellow Program

Legislative Fellow Program (LFP) is the US Department of State funded program, coordinated by National Conference of State Legislatures and American Councils for International Education which is the official administrator of LFP in Ukraine.

Young Ukrainian professionals (age 25-35) will have a firsthand opportunity to learn the US legislative system, federalism, and its basics, checks and balances system, civic society role in building a strong democracy.

Professional 4 weeks fellowship will take place at the US state legislatures. LFP is primarily focused on professionals working at state and local government, with the BA and MA degrees in international law, political science, international relations and state administration. Fluency in English is required.
