U.S. GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES HUBERT H. HUMPHREY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM FOR MID-CAREER PROFESSIONALS

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine is pleased to announce the beginning of the annual competition for Ukrainians to participate in the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. This is a 10-month, non-degree Master's level program for University graduates who have a minimum of 5 years management/policy-making experience.

The program is designed to enhance professional capabilities in the following fields:

  • Natural Resources and Environmental Management
  • Agricultural Development/ Agricultural Economics
  • Public Health Policy and Management
  • Substance Abuse Education, Treatment, and Prevention
  • HIV/AIDS Policy and Prevention
  • Urban and Regional Planning
This program is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. Recruitment of Ukrainian participants and administration of the program is conducted by the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv. Pre-Application deadline is May 5, 2008.

2008 Alumni Grants Program 

The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy is pleased to announce the 2008 Alumni Grants Program

The program is intended to provide financial support to US Government-funded exchange and training programs alumni to implement projects that promote democratic advancement and economic reform in Ukraine.

Alumni and recipients of all US Government-funded exchange and training programs , including ECA, USAID, USDA and FEP, Department of Commerce SABIT trainings, as well as other target groups with an alumni connection are eligible to apply.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed monthly by an Embassy selection committee.
