The Academic Exchanges Office of the Public Affairs Section coordinates and provides information on U.S. Academic Exchange Programs for Ukrainian students, teachers, professors, and researchers primarily in the social sciences and humanities. Participation in these exchange programs is determined on the basis of a free and open competition for qualified, English-speaking applicants and is announced every autumn. 2010-2011 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program in Eurasia and Central Asia

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine announces the launch of the 2010-2011 Global Undergraduate (UGRAD) Exchange Program in Eurasia and Central Asia. The Global UGRAD program provides opportunities for current first, second, and third year undergraduate students to spend one academic year of non-degree study in a U.S. university or community college. Participants are selected through an open, merit-based competition. Fluent English is required.

Approved fields of study for the program are: Accounting; Agriculture; American Studies; Anthropology; Biology; Business; Chemistry; Computer science; Criminal Justice; Economics; Education; Engineering; Environmental Management; Geology; Hospitality Management; International Relations; Journalism; Law; Mass Communications; Physics; Political Science; Psychology; Sociology; and Urban Planning. Other fields of study may be considered.

Applicants can submit paper copies or use the electronic submission format to apply.
