Dear Friends and Wardens,

The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv frequently receives information about planned demonstrations in Kyiv and other cities in Ukraine.  As a service to U.S. citizens residing or traveling in Ukraine, we make this information available to the wider American community.  Effective immediately, the Embassy will no longer send routine Warden Messages about planned demonstrations.  Instead, this information will be posted directly to the Embassy website at http://kyiv.usembassy.gov/amcit_demonstration_notices_eng.html.  Other messages of interest to the American community, including those related to urgent security and safety issues, will continue to be sent via the Embassy Warden System as usual.

The Embassy will alert U.S. citizens that a new Demonstration Notice has been posted via our SMS system.  We encourage all Americans living or traveling in Ukraine to register with the Embassy by going online at https://travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs.  Once you have registered, you can sign up to receive SMS alerts by sending your name and cell phone number to the American Citizen Services unit by email at kyivacs@state.gov.  Additional information about the SMS alert system is available at http://kyiv.usembassy.gov/amcit_wardensms_eng.html.
