The
Party of Regions has indicated that it will conduct a protest demonstration in
Kyiv on Friday, April 3.
Although
neither a time nor a specific location has yet been announced, it is assumed
that the demonstration will occur in downtown Kyiv,
in and around the Maidan
as the Party of Regions demonstration last week did.
We remind
American citizens that even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn
confrontational and possible escalate into violence.
American citizens are
therefore urged to avoid the above mentioned area of demonstrations if possible,
and to exercise caution if within the vicinity of any demonstrations. American
citizens should stay current with media coverage of local events and be aware of
their surroundings at all times.
